It is expected that the new product will become the main flagship of Huawei in 2021, at least before the new models of the Mate family appear. The outwardly flashing P50 Pro is similar to last year’s P40 series, although Huawei seems to have ditched dual selfie cameras in favour of a single front camera housed in a hole in the centre of the top of the screen with rounded edges.

Little is known about the specifications of the P50 Pro at this point. According to the blogger, the smartphone is equipped with a large 6.6-inch screen. The dimensions of the new items are 159 mm long and 73 mm wide. The P40 Pro has about the same dimensions (168.2 × 72.6 mm).

Due to US sanctions, Huawei is having trouble making the Kirin chipsets that were used in its previous flagship smartphones, so it’s unclear which processors the P50 smartphones will receive. However, the company recently announced the Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro smartphones based on Kirin chips. So it is quite possible that Huawei will have enough stocks of these chips for the P50 Pro models as well.
