The Soyealink case is equipped with a built-in baseband processor, due to which 5G communication is implemented
Due to US sanctions, Huawei cannot purchase foreign single-chip platforms with a built-in 5G modem, but it is still possible to get 5G support in Huawei flagships: this is done using a special case. This has been offered for a long time, for example, for the Huawei P50 Pro – and now a similar accessory has been released in China for the latest P60 and P60 Pro.
The Soyealink case is priced at $115. Its dimensions are 167.5 x 77.8 x 13.8 mm, weight is 53.5 g. Inside is a UDX 710 chip with two Arm Cortex Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of 1350 MHz, an eSIM and a baseband processor with FDD-LTE support , TD-LTE and, in fact, 5G. The case connects to your smartphone via a USB-C port and does not affect the speed of wired charging in any way. Also, its use does not affect the quality of signal reception in any way, however, the smartphone is discharged faster, since the “stuffing” of the cover also consumes – and a lot.
