This will be Huawei’s largest car
Huawei’s car lineup now has two models: the mid-size Aito M5 and the larger but also mid-size Aito M7, and a truly large crossover could soon be added to them: Aito M9 lit up in patent images. They were published by the MyDrivers resource.
Judging by the proportions of the car shown in the pictures, the length of the Aito M9 will exceed 5 meters. The source compares the Aito M9 to the Mercedes-Maybach GLS, which is a luxurious full-size crossover with a length of 5.2 m. Probably, the M9 will not be inferior in terms of dimensions. As for luxury, even the M7 has such equipment that many models of the German trio can envy it. Well, the M9 as a flagship should have everything at the highest level.
Huawei will create an analogue of the large luxury crossover Mercedes-Maybach GLS
This also applies to the autopilot system. In the pictures you can see the lidars on the left and right (placed on the wings) and the millimeter-wave radar (in the lower part of the front). And this is clearly not the whole set of sensors. On April 16, Huawei has scheduled the premiere of a new version of the Aito M5 in China – with an advanced autopilot (probably similar to Tesla). It is possible that the flagship Aito M9 can also receive such a system.
Nothing has been said about the power plants, but the Aito M5 and Aito M7 are hybrids, so the Aito M9 is also very likely to become a hybrid.
