But Huawei promises a premiere before the end of this year
Today Huawei announced that the flagship Huawei Aito M9 SUV has already received 33 thousand pre-orders. This is a lot, considering that only the approximate price has been announced so far, and the exact characteristics have not been announced at all.
It is expected that the cost of Huawei Aito M9 will be in the range of 500-600 thousand yuan (70-85 thousand dollars). But usually real prices turn out to be lower than previously announced. That is, the Huawei Aito M9 will be significantly cheaper than the Mercedes-Maybach GLS, with which it is in the same niche (based on size, body type, power and equipment. Even the paint scheme of these models is similar).
Huawei’s killer Mercedes-Maybach GLS is in great demand in China.
According to the Chinese Ministry of Industry, the dimensions of the Aito M9 are 5230 × 1999 × 1800 mm with a wheelbase length of 3110 mm. The power plant will be a hybrid, with a 1.5-liter internal combustion engine and two electric motors. The total power of the power plant will be 496 hp, the SUV will be able to travel 175 km on pure electricity, but the total range will be much greater. The Aito M9 will also have a purely electric version – with support for ultra-fast charging and a power reserve of about 630 km.
The official premiere of Huawei Aito M9 will take place before the end of the year – we are expecting it in December.
