It will appear in Xiaomi 14
Lu Weibing, President of Xiaomi Group and General Manager of the Redmi brand, officially announced a new brand of Xiaomi image sensors – Light and Shadow Hunter.
He stated that the sensor will allow for more realistic colors, rich light, and deep shadows, while its power consumption will be reduced by 42% compared to its predecessor. This means that when using a smartphone camera, the battery will drain much more slowly. As a result, the smartphone will work longer without recharging.

It was previously announced that the presentation of Xiaomi 14 will take place on October 26, at 14:00 Moscow time. The collaboration between Xiaomi and Leica was also mentioned, which resulted in the creation of a top-end camera. Lu Weibing said that he would go to the factory to help assemble Xiaomi 14 smartphones.
Xiaomi should be the first company to present its smartphones on the new top-end SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The announcement of the latter is also expected on October 26.
