New UAZ rules
The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant has been taking “compensatory measures” since November 1, which are caused by an uncontrolled increase in the cost of delivering finished cars across Russia.
Now each UAZ car is sold with an additional payment for its delivery to the dealership of 50 thousand rubles, as reported by Auto News of the Day concerning the press service of the Moscow branch of UAZ LLC.

“In the second half of this year, UAZ faced a sharp and uncontrollable increase in tariffs for logistics services, as a result of which, since the beginning of 2023, the cost of transporting finished products across Russia has more than doubled. In this regard, from November 1, the company is forced to introduce partial compensation for the cost of delivering cars to dealership centers for 50 thousand rubles,” said UAZ LLC.
Those who wish may not have to pay to deliver the car to the dealer. From November 1, any model you are interested in can be ordered directly from the factory by selecting the desired modification, configuration, color, and options using the configurator on the brand’s official website. At the same time, they promise that the car will be ready for delivery in Ulyanovsk in 3-6 months from the moment the order is placed and sold at the recommended retail price.
