Serial production will start next year

The general designer of UEC-Klimov (part of the United Engine Corporation of the state corporation Rostec) Vsevolod Eliseev confirmed that the company plans to start mass production of TV7-117St-01 engines and supply six engines for the Il-114-300 aircraft next year.

He stated that the latest regional aircraft Il-114-300 with TV7-117ST-01 engines is currently being prepared for flight and certification tests. In total, three aircraft must take part in the certification flight program.

Two engines are now “on the wing”, the remaining engines are being finalized after the first stage of testing. A pre-series production for three aircraft is also planned. In 2024, starting from the first quarter, we plan to supply at least six more engines already in serial form to support the Il-114-300 program.

The Il-114-300, intended for local airlines, is to replace the decommissioned An-24. Work on the deeply modernized Il-114-300 aircraft began in 2015. Until 2030, they plan to produce up to 100 Il-114-300 aircraft. The aircraft made its first flight in Zhukovsky on December 16, 2020.

Vsevolod Eliseev also added that the TV7-117ST-02 engines to start testing the Ladoga passenger aircraft would be handed over before the end of the year .
