Announcement of new items is expected in October
The Core i9-14900K processor appeared in Geekbench, and now this result can be compared with the Core i9-13900K and other CPUs.
The novelty scores 3120-3140 points in single-threaded mode and about 19,100 points in multi-threaded. In the first case, this is about 6% more than its predecessor, and even a little more than the Core i9-13900KS, and in the second, even less than the Core i9-13900K, but this may well be since the testing conditions are not are identical.
In a fresh test, the Core i9-14900K managed to lose to the Core i9-13900K in multi-threaded mode
In general, technically, the Core i9-14900K should be a complete copy of the Core i9-13900KS with a frequency of 6 GHz out of the box. The configuration of the cores is the same here, the architectures are the same, so the results should be as close as possible.
Let us remember that in CPU-Z the new CPU managed to outperform its predecessor by 8–10%.
