Advertising will be shown in the content of about 200 English-speaking bloggers. Among advertisers at the moment Ikea, Puma and Sephora appear. Content creators will receive 55% of the revenue.

At the first stage, advertising will appear when users switch to viewing IGTV videos from the preview in the news feed. These will be vertical rollers lasting up to 15 seconds.

Throughout the year, Instagram also tests other ad formats on IGTV. At the same time, the company assured that the ads will never be displayed along with inappropriate content, so that brands have nothing to worry about.

  • Paid live badges

Next month, Instagram will also begin testing another monetization feature for bloggers – paid badges that they can sell through Instagram Live streaming.

After testing, this feature will be launched in the USA, Brazil, Great Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Turkey, Spain and Mexico.

Users will have three options for badges to choose from, worth $ 0.99; $ 1.99 and $ 4.99. All of them will look different and after the purchase will be displayed next to the name of the buyer in his comments.
