In the NBTC database (under this abbreviation hides the regulator from Thailand), mention was made of a new Samsung smartwatch. The novelty, indicated by catalog number SM-R855F, has received the commercial designation Galaxy Watch 3. In other words, after the original Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch 3 will be released – and Galaxy Watch 2 will clearly not be anymore.

The new designation, which jumped over one digit, can easily be explained by Samsung’s desire to distance the original Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Watch 3 as much as possible in the eyes of consumers. However, in terms of capabilities, much has changed over the past year and a half, so the volume of innovations should reflect the updates characteristic of two generations, and not one.
Along the way, we learned that the watch will have a 41 mm diameter version. Earlier, the SM-R855 version with a case size of 45 mm was lit up in the base of the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). It turns out that the watch will have two versions. And there will also be a rotating bezel, but we already wrote about this.
