Two large cores and a frequency of 3.9 GHz

Already this year, an ultra-budget model with the laconic name Intel 300 may appear in the Intel Raptor Lake processor family. And although the processor will not belong to the Pentium or Celeron line, it will become a direct successor to the Pentium Gold G7400.

Intel 300 will get two large cores, so it will support multithreading. There will be no support for Turbo Boost technology, so we can talk about a constant frequency of 3.9 GHz (200 MHz higher than the Pentium Gold G7400). Otherwise, no change: consumption will be 46 W, the amount of third-level cache memory is 6 MB.

The premiere of the Intel 300 is expected in the current quarter, but it may not appear on sale immediately, but several months after the premiere.
