While there are ambiguities
Intel has previously confirmed that it will change the naming conventions for its processors with the release of the Meteor Lake line, and leaks pointed to Core Ultra format names. Now, Intel’s promotional materials have hit the Web, where all this is painted.
Intel will indeed add the word Ultra to all names, so we are waiting for Core Ultra 3, Core Ultra 5 and Core Ultra 7. What new information this naming principle carries is not yet clear.

In addition, it is reported that the new CPUs will be divided into Mainstream and Premium segments, but there are no details yet and it is not clear whether this will somehow appear in the names. As you can see on the slides, Premium will include some models from Core Ultra 5 to Ultra 9, and Mainstream – from Ultra 3 to Ultra 7.
CPU Meteor Lake, we recall, are expected at the end of the year. So far, everything indicates that only in the mobile segment.
