But not the fact that it will be an announcement
Intel has said more than once that its all-important Meteor Lake processors will be released this year, but we don’t know when exactly yet. According to recent data from Intel itself, the company will talk about CPU data at the Intel Innovation 2023 event, which starts on September 19.
It’s unclear if this is a full-blown announcement, but the company says that at the event we’ll be learning about its latest client hardware platforms, including the long-awaited Intel Core Ultra (codenamed Meteor Lake) processors. The wording for a full-fledged announcement looks very modest, but you should not draw final conclusions.
Intel will talk about the super-important new Meteor Lake processors for it in September
It is possible that in September the company will reveal some of the main features of the upcoming CPUs, and present them in October, as some rumors claimed.
Recall that Meteor Lake will be completely new Intel CPUs. They will be the first to move to the Intel 4 process technology, the first consumer CPUs to have a chiplet design, and will also move to new architectures for large and small cores. The CPU is credited with a very powerful graphics core, but there will be only six large cores.
