First buyers get a discount
Nubia brand about the start of accepting pre-orders for the latest gaming flagship RedMagic 8S Pro in the international market. The model was positioned in China as the world’s first smartphone with 24 GB of RAM. However, outside of China, a slightly simplified version of RedMagic 8S Pro is offered.
Nubia now offers three variations of RedMagic 8S Pro – opaque Midnight (12/256 GB) and Platinum (16/512 GB), as well as Aurora (16/512 GB) with a transparent back panel. All three versions received a visible RGB fan.
International pre-orders for the gaming flagship RedMagic 8S Pro have started – in a truncated form
First time buyers are offered a $30 discount. With it, RedMagic 8S Pro Midnight is offered for $619, Platinum for $749 and Aurora for $769. Open sales will begin on August 2, 2023.
Another difference between the global version of Red Magic 8S Pro is the reduced supported charging power – up to 65 watts. In comparison, the Chinese version supports 80W on the Chinese model. The battery capacity remains the same – 6000 mAh. This means that a full charge takes 40 minutes instead of 35 for the Chinese model.
RedMagic 8S Pro boasts a “hidden” 16-megapixel front camera, which is usually not visible on a 6.8-inch OLED screen, 120 Hz frame rate, a built-in fan standard for the series, a triple main camera (50 MP, 8 and 2 MP) , Android 13 operating system with Redmagic OS 8.0 shell and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC.
