Samsung Electronics has announced the start of worldwide sales of its new Galaxy Tab A9 and A9+ tablets, announced in early October 2023.

The Galaxy Tab A9 duo is designed for those who do not need the more expensive Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9+ FE, as well as their flagship counterparts. At a lower price, the new products also offer more modest characteristics.
The Galaxy Tab A9 is an entry-level model equipped with an 8.7-inch LCD with a frame rate of 60 Hz and a resolution of 1340 × 800 pixels. The display is complemented by stereo speakers, SoC MediaTek Helio G99, 8 and 2 MP cameras, and a 5100 mAh battery. The tablet supports Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, and LTE.

Galaxy Tab A9+ is equipped with an 11-inch Full HD+ LCD (1920 × 1200 pixels) with an image refresh rate of 90 Hz, Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, four speakers, 8 and 5 MP cameras, a 7040 mAh battery, there is supports 5G.

Both the Galaxy Tab A9 and Tab A9+ run Android 13 with Samsung’s proprietary One UI 5.1.1 shell. The S Pen is not supported.
The Galaxy Tab A9 and Galaxy Tab A9+ are available in Graphite, Silver, and Dark Blue, as well as Wi-Fi and LTE/5G options. Prices vary by region. In Russia, a large retailer DNS has already listed them, but has not yet started selling them:
