Introduced Realme 8 Pro – the first Realme smartphone with 108MP camera
Realme held a virtual event dedicated to presenting the Realme 8 series smartphones, including the standard Realme 8 model and the more advanced Realme 8 Pro, the preparation of which has already been reported on the web. Realme 8 Pro is the first smartphone from the company equipped with a 108MP camera.
Realme 8 Pro uses the latest generation Samsung HM2 sensor to resolve 12,000 × 9,000 pixels and a size of 1 / 1.52 inches as the main sensor for the rear camera. Larger pixel sizes provide better image quality. The HM2 also supports 9pixel merging, Samsung’s ISOCELL Plus Pixel Isolation Technology, and Smart-ISO, optimizing ISO based on shooting conditions for excellent images in bright light. Also, there is an 8-megapixel sensor in the rear camera, a 2-megapixel sensor for macro photography, and a 2-megapixel sensor for measuring the depth of the scene.
Thanks to the 108MP sensor, the images captured by the Realme 8 Pro have a well-balanced overall exposure with vibrant colors and sharp details in both light and dark areas. At the same time, the details of the image remain clear even after it is enlarged.
The camera also uses the built-in In-Sensor Zoom technology, for which nine photos taken with a resolution of 12 megapixels are combined into one image. Besides, the camera received a new shooting mode for the starry sky and the Tilt-Shift mode, which allows you to make clear only part of the picture, and the rest will be blurred.
The front camera’s resolution located in the cutout in the upper left corner of the AMOLED screen is 32 megapixels. The screens diagonal is 6.4 inches; the resolution is Full HD + (2400 × 1080 pixels). Screen brightness is 1000 cd / m 2, a sensor layer response frequency – 180 Hz.
The novelty is based on a Snapdragon 720G 8nm single-chip system with 6 or 8 GB of RAM and a 128 GB flash drive. The 4500mAh battery supports 50W fast charging. The smartphone runs Android 11 with a proprietary shell Realme UI 2.0. The fingerprint sensor built into the screen is used for unlocking. The thickness of the novelty case is 8.1 mm; the slogan of the company, “Dare to leap,” is printed on its back in large print.
