iPhone 15 may be delayed until the fourth quarter: new data appeared

The earliest – new items will appear in October

According to Vamsi Mohan, global securities analyst at Bank of America, the launch of the iPhone 15 series of smartphones could be delayed by “several weeks”. At least for October of this year.

Vamsi Mohan received this information from Apple’s supply chain and clarified that the launch of the iPhone 15 could move to the fourth quarter, which will last from October to December. He also expressed concern that the postponement could disappoint Wall Street analysts and weigh on Apple’s numbers.

Apple’s third-quarter revenue forecast is $87.1 billion, lower than previously forecast revenue of $91.6 billion. iPhone sales in the September quarter are 48 million units, below the expected 51 million smartphones, according to the latest data.

iPhone 15 may be delayed until the fourth quarter: new data appeared

Last year, Apple announced the iPhone 14 series on September 7th. The iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, and Pro Max subsequently went on sale on September 16, but the iPhone 14 Plus came out on October 7 due to production disruptions caused by the lockdown of Chinese manufacturing sites.

Apple is expected to release the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max this year, with the iPhone 15 Pro models expected to include features not available on more affordable iPhone 15 devices (different SoC, higher frame rate screens, faster USB-C connector, better cameras).

Earlier reports emerged that the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max were experiencing manufacturing issues due to Apple’s decision to enlarge their screens. Smartphones may be in short supply.
