The developers of the popular AnTuTu benchmark have compiled a September performance rating among Apple gadgets. The new iPhone 15 couldn’t even make it into the top five.
The first place was taken by the iPad Pro 12.9 with the M2 chip, which received 2.14 million points. This is followed by the Apple M2-based iPad Pro 11 (2.01 million) and the Apple M1-based iPad Pro 12.9 (1.79 million). The fourth and fifth places were taken by the iPad Pro 11 M1 (1.75 million) and iPad Air M1 (1.68 million), respectively.
iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max failed to make it into the top 5 fastest iOS devices
The new iPhone 15 Pro came in sixth place with an average score of 1.52 million points, while the flagship iPhone 15 Pro Max came in seventh place with an average score of 1.5 million points.
Eighth and ninth places were taken by the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, which scored about 1.44 million points. Rounding out the top ten is the iPhone 15 Plus based on the Apple A16 Bionic from last year’s iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max.
