The transition to a titanium frame could make the new iPhones unusually light. At least in comparison with models of recent years.
According to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be about 10% lighter than their predecessors. This means that the same iPhone 15 Pro will be the lightest Apple smartphone from the older line since the iPhone XS.
If Gurman is right, the iPhone 15 Pro will weigh about 185g. For comparison, here’s the weight of all iPhone Pros or their equivalents in recent years:
