The smartphone will be released no earlier than 2025

The fourth generation iPhone SE will have the same action button as the iPhone 15 Pro, as well as several other important new features, according to verified insider Unknownz21.

Earlier this week, an insider described the fourth-generation iPhone SE as “virtually a derivative of the iPhone 14,” echoing previous reports from Ming-Chi Kuo and other sources.

Unknownz21 stated that its design will be based on the iPhone 14. The device will feature a USB-C port. Presumably, the smartphones will also have Face ID, which will dispel previous rumors that the iPhone SE may keep the Touch ID button.

The action button, like on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, will be very different on the iPhone SE from the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, which are not expected to receive such a button. The iPhone SE will also retain a single camera on the back.

Manufacturers are currently bidding for orders from Apple for OLED displays for the new iPhone SE. In addition, the next generation iPhone SE will be one of the first to feature a dedicated Apple 5G modem. It is expected that the smartphone will be released no earlier than 2025.

Insider Unknownz21 previously shared the first image of the bottom of the iPhone 15 Pro, showing the USB-C port as well as the speaker grille. Even earlier, he leaked internal documents that confirm that the Wi-Fi 6E module will only be in iPhone 15 Pro models.
