Iron Harvest was not ready for release on the Epic Games Store – players will be refunded for pre-orders
The company Koch Media, which owns the publishing house Deep Silver, announced in its microblog about unforeseen problems with the version of Iron Harvest for the Epic Games Store (EGS).
Recall that yesterday the release of the dieselpunk strategy King Art Games took place on Steam and GOG, while in the digital store Epic Games users were still offered to pre-order the game.
As it turned out, the EGS version of Iron Harvest was not ready for the premiere. Koch Media did not go into details but promised a full refund to all buyers of the project on this site.
“This year has been a real challenge for all Iron Harvest development teams. Due to the unique situation, the game is not yet ready to launch on the Epic Games Store, ” Koch Media said.
It’s really not possible to buy Iron Harvest in the Epic Games digital store – instead of the price of a particular edition, the buy button says “ Coming Soon ”. Koch Media did not specify when the game will be back on sale.
Iron Harvest is available on Steam and GOG in two editions: the standard one costs 1,085 rubles, and for the extended one (with a “mini-campaign and a big add-on” included) you will have to pay 1,499 rubles.
Among other things, King Art Games is planning to release Iron Harvest on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is expected that the premiere of the dieselpunk strategy on consoles will take place in the first quarter of 2021.
