What can we say about other video cards
Another game based on Unreal Engine 5 came out incredibly demanding. Immortals of Aveum , like the recently sensational Remnant II, is distinguished by the fact that DLSS and FSR technologies are activated in it by default. Tests have shown that not in vain.
If until the recent patch in Remnant II, the GeForce RTX 4090 video card in 4K without DLSS at maximum quality settings gave out about 50 fps or even a little less, Immortals of Aveum produces almost 70 fps. Only this is with active DLSS technology, and in Performance mode! But it’s not even that this is incredibly very small for such a 3D map. And the fact that the indicators of 1% Low and 0.2% Low in this case are 38 and 30 fps!
Is it now that we need to wait for the RTX 5090?
Interestingly, the developers have already released a patch, but it only aggravated the situation.
So far, there are very few games on Unreal Engine 5, and at least two have already turned out to be both incredibly resource-intensive and, apparently, without proper optimization, which the developers tried to replace with DLSS / FSR.
