Already this year, but no deadlines
Elon Musk says Tesla’s upcoming Full Self-Driving v12 came out “mind blowing”. He added that after nearly three years of beta testing, Tesla’s full autonomous driving package is about to exit beta.
At this stage, drivers must constantly monitor the operation of the FSD and be ready to take control. If they crash using FSD Tesla, the company is not responsible for this.
“It’s mind-blowing,” Elon Musk says Tesla’s autopilot system is about to come out of beta
The beta version of FSD was first launched in late 2020, and it has improved a lot since then, but the level of self-driving is still far from the maximum when the driver’s attention is not required.

Musk did not give an exact release date for FSD v12, but said the update would be released before the end of the year.
