In the heartfelt video, Foxx expressed his desire to present a positive image to his fans rather than being seen in a vulnerable state. He wanted them to remember him as someone who laughs, enjoys life, parties, cracks jokes, and works on movies and television shows. Foxx credited his daughter and sister, along with the help of skilled medical professionals and God, for saving his life and enabling him to make the video.

Foxx mentioned that he underwent treatment at a rehabilitation care facility in Chicago, which specializes in assisting patients with physical impairments, brain, or spine injuries. He also took the opportunity to dispel rumors circulating on social media, confirming that his eyes are working fine, and he is not paralyzed. Although his road to recovery had its challenges, Foxx assured his fans that he is coming back and will be able to continue working.

Shortly before the video, Foxx posted a photo of himself on a gold car with the caption, “big things coming.” He concluded the video by expressing his love and gratitude for all the support he received during his difficult journey. Foxx shared that he might occasionally burst into tears, as the recovery process has been tough for him, but he is now getting back on his feet and is looking forward to being seen out and about again.
