JCB unveils rugged Toughphone and Toughphone Max smartphones
Both smartphones are built on MediaTek chipsets – this is Toughphone’s Helio P22 along with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, and Toughphone Max’s Dimensity 700 with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. The JCB Toughphone features a 5.7-inch HD+ IPS display with a 20-megapixel front camera, while the Toughphone Max features a 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS display with a 20-megapixel front camera. The main camera of the JCB Toughphone has a resolution of 20 megapixels, while the Toughphone Max has a module with four sensors: 48 megapixels, 16 megapixels wide-angle and 2 megapixels for macro and VGA.
The battery capacity of the younger model is 4050 mAh, while the older one has a much more serious 12,200 mAh: the Toughphone Max battery is designed for 30 days of standby time.
