Kia is introducing new product after new product: just a couple of weeks ago they introduced the Kia K5 2024 sedan, and now the Carnival 2024 minivan has debuted. Pre-orders are already being accepted in the home market. While the Carnival has improved markedly, it’s still inexpensive for a large minivan, starting at $26,500.
In terms of appearance, the 2024 Carnival has moved closer to other new or recently updated Kia models: the minivan received new bumpers, a grille, headlights and taillights with different graphics. The changes even affected the back door.

Innovations in the cabin are a screen panel with two 12.3-inch displays. The climate system control unit is touch-sensitive, the media system and atmospheric lighting have been improved. A fingerprint scanner appeared.
The car received improved sound insulation and new shock absorbers. Base engines are a 2.2-liter turbodiesel with 194 hp. and a 3.5 V6 gasoline engine with 294 hp. An alternative to them is a new (for Carnival) hybrid power plant based on a 1.6-liter turbo engine. Hybrid power is 245 hp, average consumption is 7 l/100 km.
The cost of the hybrid starts at 30 thousand dollars. But Carnival also retains the top-end version of the High Limousine, with the roof raised by 30 cm and only two seats in the passenger section. The price of this option is about 70 thousand dollars. Regular versions of the minivan can be 7- or 9-seater.
