Kia’s new EV5 crossover, which sits below the flagship EV9, is a Sportage-sized electric model.
According to speedme.ru, at the start of sales, Kia will release two rear-wheel drive versions with a 218 hp engine. and 300 Nm of torque at prices ranging from 21 to 31 thousand dollars in China. It is worth noting that the current generation of Kia Sportage in China costs about the same.
In addition, a version with all-wheel drive is expected to be released, equipped with two electric motors with a total power of 313 hp. The car will be equipped with batteries with a capacity of 64 or 88 kWh, which will allow it to travel up to 530 and 700 km on the CLTC cycle, respectively.
