The price will be several hundred dollars less
Apple is already working on a cheaper version of the Vision Pro headset that will help it sell more devices, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The name Vision Pro implies that Apple Vision or Apple Vision One is in development.
The Vision Pro’s three most expensive components are its cameras and sensor array, two Apple chips, and two 4K micro-OLED displays. For the new model, Apple could use lower resolution screens, an older chip, and fewer cameras.

The design of the headband may also be simplified instead of built-in headphones, AirPods may be required for such a headset. Combined with cheaper case materials, this could bring the price down by a few hundred dollars.
Apple currently plans to release a cheaper model as early as late 2025, which means it will debut about two years after the original Vision Pro device was released.
The Vision Pro will be priced at $3,500.
