The price will be from 800 dollars
The Lenovo Legion Go portable game console has been completely declassified. As expected, it is similar in parameters to the Asus ROG Ally, but at the same time it is more expensive and has its own characteristics.
Moreover, these features can not always be attributed to pluses. For example, the novelty will receive a very large screen with a diagonal of 8.8 inches, and even with support for 144 Hz and a brightness of 500 cd / m 2 , which can be considered a plus, but the resolution of this panel is 2560 x 1600 pixels. This is an extra load on the GPU, which is definitely not needed in a portable device. No wonder the Steam Deck has a 720p screen resolution. Of course, even the Radeon 780M, which is part of the Ryzen Z1 Extreme here, cannot cope with modern demanding games at 1600p, so the resolution will have to be lowered anyway, which will worsen the picture.
Lenovo Legion Go will get a huge screen, but it will also weigh almost 900 g
As for the rest, the device will receive 16 GB of LPDDR5X-7500 RAM, an SSD from 256 GB to 1 TB, a battery with a capacity of 49.2 Wh, which is 20% more than Asus and Valve set-top boxes. Dimensions will be 299 × 131 × 41 mm with a mass of 854 g.
This is the mass when the controllers are connected, which, like the Nintendo Switch, can be detached from the console. Sales will begin on September 1 at a price of 800 dollars in the US and 800 euros in Europe.
