Lenovo Yoga 9 and Yoga Slim 9 laptops will receive Intel Tiger Lake processors
Lenovo is going to continue to update the Yoga series of laptops, rather than dwelling on the Yoga Carbon model that we announced a few weeks ago. Today, data on the upcoming update of the Yoga 9 and Yoga Slim 9 models appeared on the web – both will receive new 11th generation Intel Core processors of the Tiger Lake series.
According to leaked promotional materials, three versions of the Lenovo Yoga 9 model and only one version of the Slim version of the laptop will be available for sale. For Yoga 9, a 15.6-inch model is announced, as well as two 14-inch versions. The first is only reported that it will be able to offer new processors of the Tiger Lake series, but on the other hand, significantly more details are provided about 14-inch models.

If you believe the published slides, the claimed operating time of Lenovo Yoga 9 from a single battery charge will be up to 18 hours. In addition, it is known that the novelty will receive an Intel Core i7 processor. This is not reflected in the declared specifications, but the corresponding sticker can be found on the image of the device body.
The battery life of the Lenovo Yoga Slim 9 is two hours less. The laptop itself is thinner and lighter than its larger brother. The slides report that the Yoga Slim 9 weighs 1.2 kg and is 13.9-14.6 mm thick. In the 14-inch Lenovo Yoga 9, these figures reach 1.42 kg and 16 mm, respectively.
Model Lenovo Yoga 9 is also able to offer 4K-display whose brightness is up to 500 cd / m 2 . The laptop will be based on the Core i7 processor of the Tiger Lake series. This is probably a Core i7-1165G7 model.
The price or date of the announcement of the Lenovo Yoga 9 and Yoga Slim 9 laptops has not been reported. Obviously, these laptops will not appear on sale before the official announcement of the Tiger Lake generation processors, scheduled for September 2 this year.
