This PC will be released in 2024
Apple recently introduced the MacBook Air 15, which is based on the M2 SoC. Earlier there were rumors that such a PC will receive a new M3 and it seems that they will be realized a little later. Bloomberg journalist and insider Mark Gurman (Mark Gurman), who, by the way, predicted the launch of the big MacBook Air, said that the updated model will be released next year.

The update will bring the Apple M3 SoC to the laptop, which will be manufactured using the 3 nm process technology. Moving to new norms will allow Apple to make the new platform faster and more energy efficient, but for now one can only guess by how much.
At a minimum, Gurman says the M3 will have the same configuration as the M2. That is, we are talking about eight CPU cores and ten GPU cores. Whether there will be any architectural changes or whether the new platform will be faster only due to increased frequencies is not yet clear.
