Previously, investigations began against Binance in the US and France
The Belgian Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) has ordered major cryptocurrency exchange Binance to immediately stop providing services in Belgium.
FSMA notes that Binance offers and provides exchange services in Belgium between virtual currencies and legal currencies, as well as escrow wallet services from countries outside the European Economic Area. Therefore, the FSMA has ordered Binance to immediately stop offering or providing any such services in Belgium.
Persons or firms governed by the laws of a country outside the European Economic Area are prohibited from offering or operating in Belgium the services of exchanging virtual currencies for legal currencies or depositary wallet services.
