For 400 euros
Fundraising has started on the Kickstarter platform for the Murena 2 smartphone without Google services and with a physical switch that turns off the camera and microphone.
“Degogling” cannot be called a very popular phenomenon, but there is a demand, which is why some new products are entering the market. Murena 2, like the first generation, runs /e/OS – an Android-based operating system without Google services.

Technically, this is a completely ordinary smartphone. It is equipped with a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution, 8/128 GB of memory, a 64-megapixel camera, and a 4000 mAh battery, but there is no real information about the platform. The company only says that it contains eight cores. For example, the first-generation Murena is equipped with Helio P60.
The dimensions of the new product are 160 × 73.3 × 7.8 mm with a weight of 182. It is also worth highlighting the rather old Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 4.2, and the lack of 5G support. As part of a crowdfunding campaign, they are asking for 400 euros for such a smartphone. The retail price will be 500 euros.
