Firmware will be released in autumn
Well-known network whistleblower Ice Universe has published a list of changes in OneUI 6 firmware based on the Android 14 operating system.
Ice Universe refers to UI designer @choehau_alen who leaked a lot of accurate information about the OneUI 5 firmware in the past.
Named innovations OneUI 6 and Android 14
So, OneUI 6 will bring with it changes in user interface and software design. The new firmware will feature improved performance, it will offer restrictions on the installation of legacy applications, satellite connectivity, predictive gestures, quick updates, better handling of background applications, screen recording, drag-and-drop, and additional lock screen settings.
It is assumed that the new firmware will be available to users by the end of 2023. Open beta testing should begin after the July presentation of Galaxy Unpacked.
