As IT Home writes concerning Flatpanelshd, the processor of the 2024 LG OLED TV has been significantly upgraded and is called Alpha 10.
In 2018, LG released the Alpha 9 processor for OLED TVs. This series of processors has been upgraded over the years and has reached the current Alpha 9 Gen 6 model. In addition, relatively inexpensive LG TVs are equipped with Alpha 7 or Alpha 5 processors.
New LG OLED TVs will receive the latest Alpha 10 chip.
LG’s new Alpha 10 TV chip will be much faster. The performance of the Neural Processing Unit (NPU) will be significantly improved with improved image analysis, noise reduction, object recognition functions, and artificial intelligence-based audio enhancement functions. In addition, it is reported that the chip will also be used in other LG smart home appliances.
LG will unveil the 2024 OLED TV at CES in January 2024.
