Electrical ID. 7 will get a new variant. The car will be called ID. 7 Tourer, while VW showed the first photos. It is covered in camouflage, but you can already get an idea of what the car will look like.
This will be VW’s first all-electric station wagon. The low drag coefficient of 0.24 should provide a good range. For comparison: for a sedan, this figure is 0.23. It can be assumed that the same batteries will be offered as in the sedan, that is, with a capacity of 77 or 82 kWh. The electric motor develops a power of 210 kW/286 hp.
If the second row of seats is raised in the cabin, the car offers a trunk volume of up to 545 liters. If the second one is folded, the volume of the almost two-meter cargo compartment can increase to 1714 liters
A New Volkswagen station wagon presented
VW says it is one of the most successful estate makers in the world. The models that Volkswagen traditionally called Variant or Shooting Brake (in the case of the Arteon) have been around for more than 60 years. With the new Tourer, the brand introduces a new name for the station wagon model.
They will show what the car will look like without stickers shortly, and the market entry is scheduled for 2024.
