More specifically, the next generation Mercedes-Benz eSprinter van will be produced in the German cities of Düsseldorf and Ludwigsfeld, as well as in North Charleston, South Carolina, USA. It is planned to invest 50 million euros in each of the three assembly sites for the new Mercedes-Benz electric van.

The new Mercedes-Benz eSprinter will be built on the Electric Versatility Platform, in which the company has invested 350 million euros. In addition to the passenger version and the cargo van, it is expected that a flatbed truck, a refrigerator, and an ambulance will be produced. Customers will have access to versions with rechargeable batteries of three different capacities. The current version of eSprinter offers a choice of 41 or 55 kWh batteries and a 114 hp electric motor.

It is known that the production of a new generation eSprinter at all three plants will start in the second half of 2023.
