Nintendo Announces Super Mario 3D All-Stars Coming To Switch With Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine And Super Mario Galaxy
Nintendo has announced Super Mario 3D All-Stars, a collection of three 3D games in the Super Mario platformer series released on the Nintendo 64, GameCube and Wii: Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy. The collection will launch on Nintendo Switch on September 18th.
Super Mario 64 was the first 3D title in the series. The game laid down the basic gameplay elements of all subsequent 3D Super Mario: bouncing off walls, back flips and other movements.
Super Mario Sunshine takes place on the tropical island of Delfino, where Mario must uncover a villainous conspiracy. Thanks to his new friend LIVV, the hero can travel to different worlds.
And in Super Mario Galaxy, the mustachioed protagonist embarks on an intergalactic journey to help Rosaline and rescue Princess Peach from Bowser. On Nintendo Switch, you can give a friend a Joy-Con and play together in Co-Star Mode.
All three games will be optimized for the Nintendo Switch with updated graphics and a music player with over 170 tunes from Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy.
Super Mario 3D All-Stars Game Specifications:
- Super Mario 64 – 960 × 720 resolution (4: 3 format) in stationary and portable modes;
- Super Mario Sunshine – 1920 × 1080 resolution in stationary mode and 1280 × 720 pixels in portable mode;
- Super Mario Galaxy – 1920 × 1080 dynamic resolution in stationary mode and 1280 × 720 dynamic resolution in portable mode.
It is noteworthy that Nintendo has limited the sale of Super Mario 3D All-Stars in time: you can only purchase a digital copy of the collection until March 31, 2021. Super Mario 3D All-Stars can now be pre-ordered from Nintendo eShop for RUB 4,499.
