New details have arrived
The Autopotok insider Telegram channel published details about a pickup truck based on Lada Niva Travel , which was previously presented by the Moscow company Alfa Automative Technologies.
This machine has a frameless design and spring rear suspension, i.e. before us is practically a revival of the concept of the experimental VAZ-2323/2723 of 1999.
At the beginning of last year, designer Kirill Gavrilin prepared sketches of how the VAZ-2323 could look like in the Lada Niva Travel style.
“Niva Pickup” will receive a frameless design and spring rear suspension
The car, which passes under the name “Niva Pickup”, will be able to carry up to 500 kg of cargo. If the project is approved by AvtoVAZ, then the Niva Pickup may go into production (it is possible that it will be directly in Togliatti).
Earlier, the same source reported that the Togliatti company F-Design developed a light military SUV based on the three-door Niva.
