Ultra may be released in the iPhone 16 line
It looks like there won’t be an Ultra model in the upcoming generation of iPhones. Bloomberg journalist and insider Mark Gurman reports that the top model of the new line will have the same name: iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The remaining models, of course, will also not offer new names, that is, we are waiting for the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, and iPhone 15 Pro.

Gurman himself previously said that Apple was considering the possibility of using the name iPhone 15 Ultra for the top model, but they decided to abandon this idea, at least for the coming generation. At the same time, we may well be expecting an iPhone 16 Ultra next year, given rumors that such a smartphone will be larger than its predecessors and will have a 6.9-inch screen.
