Heated seats, additional driver assistance systems and other options
The general director of the Moskvich automobile plant, Dmitry Pronin, in an interview with RIA Novosti, confirmed that in the near future, buyers of Moskvich 3 will be offered a new package called Comfort.
He spoke about the main priorities of the plant, plans for the future and new products. At some point, he was asked a question about the missing heating system and all-wheel drive, as well as about the new trim levels of Moskvich 3.
Now the sales of “Moskvich 3” will take off?
Every day we receive feedback from dealers, customers, read social networks and the media, even about heating. These functions are not included in the standard configuration of Moskvich 3, but we plan to launch another configuration in the near future – Comfort, which will include, for example, heated seats, a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel, electric folding side mirrors, and as well as additional driver assistance systems.
In the same interview, Dmitry Pronin said that mass production of the new Moskvich 6 sedan is planned to begin in July-August 2023, and sales will start in September .
He also noted that, in general, the prices for cars of the revived brand are more than attractive compared to competitors, but their growth is inevitable in the future .
In addition, Dmitry Pronin said that the plant launched production almost from scratch and in less than six months, because Renault left nothing after its withdrawal from Russia.
