Nubia Red Magic 6, the world’s most powerful smartphone, unveiled – 165Hz display, 18GB RAM and Snapdragon 888 with fan
The Nubia brand has presented the long-awaited next-generation gaming smartphone: the device debuted in the basic version of the Red Magic 6 and the more expensive modification of the Red Magic 6 Pro. The latter is by far the most powerful smartphone on the global market, according to the manufacturer.
At the heart of the new products is a Snapdragon 888 processor with eight cores (up to 2.84 GHz), an Adreno 660 graphics accelerator, and a 5G modem. An active cooling system with copper radiators and a small fan is used, which spins up to 18,000 rpm for the standard version and up to 20,000 rpm for the Pro version.
Used LPDDR5 RAM: and its volume reaches 18 GB for the first time. UFS 3.1 flash storage capacity – up to 512GB.
Particularly noteworthy is the 6.8-inch FHD + AMOLED display (2400 × 1080 pixels). For the first time in the smartphone market, the screen refresh rate reaches 165 Hz. This indicator can be reduced to 30 Hz to save battery power.
The touch layer’s response frequency is up to 360 Hz with multiple simultaneous touches and 500 Hz with a single touch. There are touch triggers on the side edge with a response frequency of 400 Hz.
The triple camera incorporates a 64-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel unit with wide-angle optics, and a 2-megapixel macro module. An 8-megapixel camera is installed in front.
The Red Magic 6 version is equipped with a 5050 mAh battery with support for 65-watt charging. The Red Magic 6 Pro model received a 4500 mAh battery with a 120-watt recharge. The operating system is Red Magic OS 4, based on Android 11.
