Nvidia has just reported for another financial quarter , for which it managed to increase operating profit by more than 1200%. Now the company has announced that it intends to put 1.5-2 million Nvidia H100 AI accelerators on the market in 2024.
Our demand is huge. We are significantly expanding our production capacity. The offer will increase significantly before the end of this and next year. Nvidia has been preparing for this for over two decades and has created a new computing platform that the world’s industry can rely on.
Nvidia, and gaming graphics cards will not disappear?
Recall that in addition to the H100, Nvidia has the A100 from the previous generation, as well as the A800 and H800, created specifically for China.
This year, Nviida intends to sell about 550,000 H100 accelerators, which means that next year it plans to sell three to four times more. For the gaming segment, such figures seem fantastic. That being said, it’s likely that if TSMC could make more GPUs for the H100, Nvidia would easily sell those as well.
