The company said that it listened to the wishes of consumers to increase the size of the first batch of new video cards supplied to retail chains at the start of sales. It was decided to postpone the start date of sales of GeForce RTX 3070 from mid-October to the 29th, exactly two weeks.
NVIDIA did not miss the opportunity to remind that at a recommended price of $ 499, the new product will be able to compete with the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, which at the time of its debut was more than twice as expensive. The novelty surpasses its predecessor in the face of the GeForce RTX 2070 by an average of 60%. Alas, even a few days after the start of sales of the GeForce RTX 3080 and GeForce RTX 3090, buyers have to deal with both a shortage of video cards and an abundance of speculative offers. If the GeForce RTX 3070 debuts at the end of October, then the announcement of the rumored GeForce RTX 3060 Ti will also be postponed to a later date so as not to create competition between them.
