Official: Aspyr Will Re-Release Star Wars: Republic Commando For PS4 And Switch
A recent leak has been confirmed: the tactical shooter Star Wars: Republic Commando is waiting to be released on modern systems. In particular – PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
As it became known, versions of Star Wars: Republic Commando for the above consoles will go on sale on April 6 this year. The game will run on PS5 as part of Backward Compatibility.
Despite the relative proximity of the release (a month and a half), it is impossible to pre-order the slightly rejuvenated Star Wars: Republic Commando.
The re-release will have a few differences from the original Star Wars: Republic Commando: updated and modernized controls and a list of achievements with a platinum trophy in the case of the PS4.
There is no need to talk about any graphical improvements, except for a tighter resolution. You can check this thanks to the published screenshots and the trailer.
In Star Wars Republic Commando, players take on RC-1138, the commander of the Delta Elite Clone Commando squad. The user is required to issue orders competently and shoot accurately.
Notably, the upcoming release will mark Star Wars’ debut: Republic Commando on the PlayStation and Nintendo consoles. The original game was released only on PC and the first Xbox in March 2005.
