MediaTek Dimensity 9200 still not trusted by phone makers
The team of the popular AnTuTu benchmark has published a fresh ranking of the most productive smartphones based on the Android operating system for the international market. The international rating differs markedly from the version for the Chinese market.
Unlike the rating for February, the first 10 places went to smartphones that run on Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. According to experts, it seems that Dimensity 9200 still does not enjoy the trust of phone manufacturers, completely losing to Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Hopes are pinned on the Dimensity 9200+ platform, which MediaTek will release later this year. It is this SoC that can become a real competitor to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
only Qualcomm models remain in Antutu’s top 10
The first place was taken by Red Magic 8 Pro +, the second went to Vivo X90 Pro +, and the third – Xiaomi 13 Pro. Also in the top 10 are Xiaomi 13, Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23+, Galaxy S23, OnePlus 11, Xiaomi 12T Pro and Xiaomi 12 Pro.
Statistics collected from March 1 to March 31, 2023. The AnTuTu ranking uses averages, not the highest scores. For each smartphone, the results of at least 1000 tests were taken into account – models with fewer tests do not fall into the rating.
