OPPO Announces K9 Smart TV with Enhanced Color
OPPO will be holding a new product launch event in China on May 6th. The company has confirmed that it will feature at least four products. We are talking about the OPPO K9 5G smartphone, Enco Air headphones, OPPO Band fitness tracker, and K9 Smart TV. The company yesterday revealed the key characteristics of the latter.
According to data released by OPPO’s official Weibo account, the upcoming OPPO Smart TV will be available in three sizes: 43, 55, and 65 inches. The company claims that this TV will be able to reproduce 1.07 billion colors. The matrices used in it will be able to provide 93% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. They are also said to provide a color accuracy of Δ <2. HDR10 + support is also announced.
Unfortunately, nothing else is known for certain about OPPO Smart TV K9 yet. However, there are speculations that it will receive a 4K resolution. According to information leaked a few days ago, the OPPO Smart TV K9 will be positioned lower in the company’s lineup than the previously released OPPO TV S1 and TV R1.
