OPPO Reno’s next smartphone will boast a flagship Qualcomm processor

The Reno series, launched by OPPO last year, already has four generations of smartphones. However, only the Reno 10x Zoom had an outstanding performance, while the Reno 3 and Reno 4 were just average. According to a new leak, the next smartphone of the family will be able to boast of the flagship filling.

Reputable tech blog Digital Chat Station reports that the successor to OPPO Reno 4 will be built on the flagship Snapdragon 8xx series chipset. There is no data yet on what the new smartphone will be called, but it is expected to be released this year, which suggests that the device may be equipped with a Snapdragon 865 or 865+ processor. There is also a high possibility that more affordable versions with Qualcomm and MediaTek chipsets will be presented along with the flagship model.

Recall that the current model of the family at the moment is the Reno 4 Pro, built on the Snapdragon 765G chip. According to reports, tomorrow its 4G modification will be presented in India, which will receive a less powerful Snapdragon 720 processor and a cost of about $ 440.
