Origin PC NS-15 laptop received a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 5950X processor and up to 64 GB of RAM
Corsair has introduced an updated Origin PC NS-15 laptop positioned as a mobile workstation: the device is made on the AMD hardware platform.
The maximum configuration includes a Ryzen 9 5950X “desktop” processor with 16 processing cores and the ability to simultaneously process up to 32 instruction streams. The base clock speed is 3.4 GHz, the maximum is 4.9 GHz.
The laptop can carry up to 64GB of DDR4-3200 RAM. Supports two fast NVMe PCIe SSDs. The total capacity of the data storage subsystem is up to 6 TB.
The notebook is equipped with a 15.6-inch Full HD display (1920 x 1080 pixels) with a refresh rate of 144 Hz. It is possible to install a discrete graphics card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or GeForce RTX 2070 with 6 and 8 GB of GDDR6 memory, respectively.
The equipment includes Wi-Fi 6 AX200 and Bluetooth wireless adapters, a 2-megapixel webcam, a fingerprint scanner, a Gigabit Ethernet network controller, and a microSD slot. The set of interfaces includes USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A (× 2) and USB 2.0 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.0, and mini DisplayPort 1.4 connectors.
The Origin PC NS-15 starts at $ 1,800. The computer can come with Windows 10 or without an operating system.
