Orxa Energies presented its first electric motorcycle, Orxa Mantis, a prototype of which was shown back in 2019.

The Orxa Mantis is powered by a 27 hp electric motor. with a torque of 93 Nm. The motorcycle has a top speed of 135 km/h and can accelerate from zero to 97 km/h in 8.9 seconds. The motorcycle is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 8.9 kWh, providing a range of up to 221 kilometers.

The Orxa Mantis can be fully charged in two and a half hours using the Blitz fast charger, while a standard 1.3kW charger will do the job in five hours.

Orxa Mantis is equipped with a large five-inch full-color TFT display with the ability to pair with a smartphone and navigation. The motorcycle comes with a full LED lighting system, regenerative braking and ABS.

The Mantis frame is made from aerospace grade aluminum. The suspension is handled by 41mm telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock absorber with adjustable preload at the rear. The bike is stopped by front and rear disc brakes measuring 320mm and 230mm respectively. Mantis weighs only 182 kg.

The Orxa Mantis costs around $4,300. This price includes a 1.3 kW charger. The first batch of Mantis electric motorcycles will be delivered in April 2024.
